Someone has to be in charge and in spite of the traditional laid back Barbados attitude the club is no exception. We're fortunate to have five people, prepared to give up their time and skills to keep our club afloat.
Our current committee were elected at the 2009 AGM. Elections to posts are held annually.
The committee are always happy to hear from members with comments or suggestions. You can normally find one or more of them at the club or on the water. Alternatively feel free to email and we'll make sure the message is passed on.

Mike Krimholtz - Commodore: A Consultant Physician who runs the island's diabetes service. Proud owner of Indigo, with whom he's happy to spend as many weekends and evenings as possible. Has graduated from glasses of rum to making tea on deck.
How to recognise Mike? He's the one asking for your subscription

Kris Richardson - Treasurer: Our Canadian triathalon champion is also a keen sailor and contributes much more than just balancing the books. He spends days on end maintaining the club boats for members use and is always around to offer a helping hand.
How to recognise Kris? Iphone in one hand, clips, ropes, drill in the other.

Ian Hickling - Vice Commodore, Sailing Member: We'll forgive him for being a New Zealander by birth! Ian has run a specialist manufacturing company in Barbados for the last 14 years. If he's not in the office you'll find him on his boat with his daughter at the helm.
How to recognise Ian? If there's a woman you can't take your eyes off, that's his wife!

Bryn Palmer - Floor Member: His title does not do him justice, he fixed the roof and walls as well as the floor. We hear he's pretty good at plumbing too. Often to be found on the beach with Silver Bullet, Bryn's our chief social events oganiser.
How to recognise Bryn? He's young, with designer stubble, holding a spanner.

Isabelle Gouirand - Secretary: One of our most enthusiastic novice sailors, who does her best not to get dunked by the 'experts' who take her out on the water. A climatologist by day, so don't ask her for the sailing weather predictions.
How to recognise Isabelle? She's French, beautiful and female, unlike the other committee members!
