A Home From Home For The St. Gabriel's Sea Scouts
The Barbados Cruising Club welcomes The St. Gabriel's Sea Scouts once a month for a regular session of shore based learning followed by fun on the water. Knots, rigging, safety at sea are all on the agenda before the club boats can be launched.
The Club was pleased to donate the entry fees from the 2010 Banks Regatta to the Sea Scouts, and it's always fun to have them at the club. They gave us a hand (or 20) with the 2010 Clean Up Barbados around the club and Pebbles Beach and are also the experts in raising and lowering our club burgee from the flag pole.
Sailing Captain Ian is always happy to hear from any members who would like to assist in our regular Sea Scout sessions.
